The Training for Success Programme is all about giving you the tools and the confidence to find work or get into higher education. It is designed for school leavers aged for 16 and 17, with extended eligibility for persons under 22 years with a disability, or under 24 years for persons from a care background. It gives you the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification, as well as practical work experience. Each individual will receive a £40 weekly training allowance plus travel expenses*
Jobpath is an innovative 52 week programme for people experiencing unemployment. It has been specifically designed to help you find and keep employment, as well as retain a regular wage. Additionally, Jobpath provides support for a further 52 weeks once you have gained employment. Delivered by People 1st on behalf of Seetec, under contact to the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection (DEASP), Jobpath provides a personalised support package which changes depending on your individual employment and skills needs.
The WISE Project is a FREE programme open to women of all ages who have the potential and the desire to play a more active role in the labour force. It is for women who are neither employed or unemployed - in that they are not in direct receipt of Jobseeker's Benefit. Women who are claiming One Parent Family Payment, Carers Allowance, Disability Allowance, Widow's Pension or not claiming anything at all, are eligible for the programme.
