Ideal opportunity for those working in a Childcare or Early Years setting to enhance career options, or access higher education, by developing the knowledge and skills to progress in this thriving sector.

QCF Children's Care Level 3 Qualification

Create a thriving learning environment within your childcare setting by developing your understanding of the role requirements of a senior childcare practitioner and enhance your knowledge of children's development and education.

This qualification is for senior childcare assistants or room supervisors who work within Early Years and Childcare settings and provides an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills at supervisory level.

Course Delivery

You will attend fortnightly workshops to develop your understanding of the principles of best practice.  You will be allocated an assessor who will work with you on a one-to-one basis in the workplace to support you to obtain the qualification.  Our assessors use digital assessment methods which will reduce the volume of written work for candidates and ensure confidentiality throughout the process as no paperwork leaves the workplace.

Start Date: Wednesday 11th January 2017 (Fortnightly classes)

Duration: Approximately 9/12 months depending on experience

Entry Requirements:  You must be in a supervisory or senior role, or be able to show, through your job description, the level of responsibility needed for this qualification.

A payment plan is available to support self-funded participants.

People1st are proud to hold Direct Claims Status for all Childcare qualifications.  This means that the awarding bodies have deemed our teaching and assessments to be of a very high standard.  As such, we do not need to wait for an External Examiner visit to claim your certificate.  Once you have completed, we can claim your certificate immediately.
