This qualification will provide candidates with the skills and knowledge needed to manage practice and lead others in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults' Management) Wales and Northern Ireland. The programme covers a wide range of subjects, including: leading professional practice, health and safety and risk management, safeguarding and developing professional supervision practice.
Learners need to be working in the role of Deputy or Manager in an appropriate setting or have the opportunity to carry out responsibilities associated with these roles. By completing this qualification, candidates will demonstrate that they are competent to do a job and have the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to do it well!
The programme will be delivered through a series of 18 masterclasses, which will be scheduled for one evening a month (6.30pm - 9.30pm). An individual training plan will be created for each participant to ensure they are getting the most from this learning intervention.
You will be assigned an Assessor who will assist you in choosing the right units for the role you undertake. You will be required to complete some written work in relation to the units you choose and in addition, workplace assessment is undertaken to provide evidence of your application of skills and knowledge.
The full cost for the programme is £1350 + VAT per person. This is a one-off cost for the full programme and includes registration, certification, access to an e-portfolio system for logging evidence as well as all learning materials required. A payment plan can be arranged to cover the cost of the programme.
