COURSE CONTENT
Course Description
The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982 requires employers to provide adequate and appropriate first-aid equipment, facilities and people so your employees can be given immediate help if they are injured or taken ill at work.
It is important to remember that accidents and illness can happen at any time. First-aid provision needs to be available at all times people are at work

Duration
The Emergency First Aid at Work course is a 6 hour programme
Assessment
Candidates are assessed throughout the day by a range of theory and practical assessments.
Entry Requirements
There are no prerequisites for completing the Emergency First Aid at Work programme, as the required knowledge and understanding of first aid are covered in the training.
Progression Routes
Requalification is mandatory every three years
