This qualification is ideal if you work in a financial services environment and want to further develop your skills, behaviours and product or service knowledge. You’ll be providing service in line with standards and strategy and understand regulatory requirements.
To give you an understanding of this course, topics include:
- Planning and organising work in a financial services environment
- Complying with regulations within the financial services environment
- Improving and maintaining workplace competence in a financial services environment
- Debtor call handling principles
- Processing straightforward new insurance claims notifications
- Processing life, pensions and investment business applications
If you are aged 16 to 25 (and over 25 for some qualifications)* and working a minimum of 21 hours per week, you could access this course for free through the ApprenticeshipsNI programme.

You could complete the Level 3 Certificate in Providing Financial Services, or progress in roles such as bank/building society customer advisor, contact centre operator, customer relationship manager, insurance broker, financial planner.
