This qualification has been developed specifically for learners who, as experienced playworkers, are developing, leading and reviewing permanent or temporary play provision. Roles that are relevant to this qualification include leaders of after-school clubs including managers and deputy managers.
Participants are required to attend fortnightly master classes which will focus on understanding how to apply the Playwork principles in order to develop and implement an organisational framework for children and young people. Workplace observations are required.
The course duration is 12 to 18 months as the programme is participant led.
