ICQ Level 3 Award in Education and Training (formerly Train the Trainer)

The qualification is an introduction to teaching and training. You will gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a tutor/trainer and will be able to plan and deliver sessions using appropriate resources and teaching methods.

To give you an understanding of this course, topics include:

• Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training
• Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
• Facilitate learning and development in groups
• Facilitate learning and development for individuals
• Understanding the principles and practices of assessment
• Understanding assessment in education and training

Attendance at 6 x 3 hour zoom workshops is required. Assessment will take place via practical activities completed in the workshops and a series of short written assignments.  Candidates must deliver a short micro-teach session as part of their assessment.
