This course recognises occupational competence for people working in a more technical or professional capacity in financial services. In some areas of work, learners will be carrying out supervisory as well as technical functions. In some instances, learners will be advising other staff or will be the person to whom problems and the out of the ordinary or the less routine situations can be referred.
To give you an understanding of this course, topics include:
- Planning and organising work in a financial services environment
- Complying with regulations within the financial services environment
- Improving and maintaining workplace competence in a financial services environment
- Debtor call handling principles
- Processing straightforward new insurance claims notifications
- Processing life, pensions and investment business applications
If you are working a minimum of 21 hours per week in the sector, you may be eligible to access this course for free at any age through the All-Age Apprenticeships programme. Conditions apply.
