This course will allow you to recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding as well as demonstrating your competence in the workplace when carrying out the role of a site carpenter within the construction industry.
To give you an understanding of this course, topics include:
- Setting up and using transportable cutting and shaping machines in the workplace
- Installing bespoke second fixing components in the workplace
- Installing bespoke first fixing components in the workplace
- Developing and Maintaining Good Occupational Working Relationships in the Workplace
- Conforming to General Health, Safety and Welfare in the Workplace
- Confirming Work Activities and Resources for an Occupational Work Area in the Workplace
If you are a school-leaver, aged 16-18 and not working full time, you could access this course for free through the alternatives to A-levels course called Skills for Life and Work.
