This course will allow you to recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace environment so you can work in a reinstatement environment within the construction and civil engineering operations sectors.
To give you an understanding of this course, topics include:
- Reinstating ground condition in the workplace
- Installing, maintaining and removing work area protection and safety equipment in the workplace
- Conforming to productive working practices in the workplace
- Conforming to general health, safety and welfare in the workplace
- Preparing and operating powered units, tools or pedestrian plant, machinery or equipment in the workplace
- Controlling, directing and guiding the operation of plant or machinery in the workplace
If you are a school-leaver, aged 16-18 and not working full time, you could access this course for free through the alternatives to A-levels course called Skills for Life and Work.
