The course is designed to equip you with the knowledge to work effectively within Adult Social Care at this level. This qualification will also allow for a number of progression routes to employment and into other areas of learning
To give you an understanding of this course, topics include:
- Principles of communication in adult social care settings
- Principles of personal development in adult social care settings
- Principles of diversity, equality and inclusion in adult social care settings
- Principles of safeguarding and protection in health and social care
- Introduction to duty of care in health, social care or children’s and young people’s settings
- Understand the role of the social care worker
If you are working a minimum of 21 hours per week in the Health and Social Care sector, you may be eligible to access this course for free at any age through the All-Age Apprenticeships programme. Conditions apply.
