Level 3 BIIAB Certificate in Induction into Health and Social Care Northern Ireland

The primary purpose of the course is to prepare for further learning or training by developing knowledge in health and social care; the knowledge provided meets nationally recognised standards for adult social care at this level.
To give you an understanding of this course, topics include:
- Principles of communication in adult social care settings
- Principles of personal development in adult social care settings
- Principles of diversity, equality and inclusion in adult social care settings
- Principles of safeguarding and protection in health and social care
- Principles for implementing duty of care in health, social care or children’s and young people’s settings
- Understand the role of the social care worker
If you are working a minimum of 21 hours per week in the Health & Social Care sector, you may be eligible to access the Level 3 BIIAB Certificate in Induction into Health and Social Care Northern Ireland course for free at any age through the All-Age Apprenticeships programme. Conditions apply.
