This course will help you understand the key principles of retail business including customer service, selling, product knowledge, merchandising and consumer legislation. The qualification also focuses on the development of communication and interpersonal skills to support your ability to work effectively as part of a retail team and to enhance confidence when interacting with customers.
To give you an understanding of this course, topics include:
- Understand how a retail business maintains health and safety on its premises
- Understanding customer service in the retail sector
- Understanding how individuals and teams contribute to the effectiveness of a retail business
- Understanding the retail selling process
- Understanding retail consumer law
- Understanding security and loss prevention in a retail business
