This course will allow to recognise and demonstrate your skills, knowledge and understanding so you can work as a Bricklayer within the construction industry
To give you an understanding of this course, topics include:
- Understanding information, quantities and communication with others
- Understanding construction technology
- Set out masonry structures
- Health, safety and welfare in construction and associated industries
- Construct solid walling incorporating isolated and attached piers
- Construct cavity walling forming masonry structures
If you are a school-leaver, aged 16-18 and not working full time, you could access this course for free through the alternatives to A-levels course called Skills for Life and Work.
