This course has been designed to allow learners to obtain and then demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to work effectively and flexibly within the Adult Care sector at Level 2 in Northern Ireland. The primary purpose of the qualification is to confirm occupational competence.

If you are aged 16 to 25 (and over 25 for some qualifications)* and working a minimum of 21 hours per week, you could access this course for free through the ApprenticeshipsNI programme.
If you wish to self-fund, the cost is £850 + VAT.
A good standard of written English is required.

You can complete further study such as the Level 3 Certificate in Induction into Health and Social Care Northern Ireland or the Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care Northern Ireland.
